When we opened our Banashankari cell in 2019, we realized that this area's needs are unique. Families here value continuity, trust, and respect for age-old customs. Our recruitment focuses on women from surrounding areas who have experience working in traditional Brahmin, Vokkaliga, and Muslim households — familiar with separate cooking utensils, specific dietary restrictions, and festival protocols.
We conduct rigorous training in hygiene, elderly communication, and even basic Sanskrit slokas for pooja assistance. Our field supervisor is a Banashankari resident herself, ensuring that cultural sensitivities are always respected. We've successfully placed over 1,100 domestic workers in homes ranging from old independent houses on 100ft Road to newer apartments near Puttenahalli.
